Here’s a step-by-step outline of the cataract removal process.
| Step 1: Have a complete, dilated exam at Texas Vision & Laser Center | |

∙ Bring your glasses
∙ Be out of your contact lenses for 2 weeks ∙ Plan to be with us for about 2 hours ∙ If the surgeon confirms that you could benefit from cataract surgery at this time then schedule a Pre-Operative appointment ∙ Proceed to Step 2 |

∙ Exact pricing & timeline will be provided ∙ Important paperwork will be completed ∙ Schedule date(s) of cataract surgery ∙ We can answer all your questions
∙ Plan to be with us for a couple hours ∙ Proceed to Step 3 |
| Step 3: Cataract Surgery for each eye (if applicable) | |

∙ This will be scheduled during your Pre-Op appointment (Step 2)
∙ One eye at a time, about a week apart ∙ Done on Mondays and Wednesdays ∙ You will need a driver ∙ Proceed to Step 4 |
| Step 4: Post-Operative appointments per surgery (about 3 visits) | |

∙ These will be scheduled during your Pre-Op appointment. You will need a
minimum of THREE post-op appointments. Usually these occur at 1 day, 1 week & 6 weeks after surgery |
