Dr. Kim is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Additionally, she is a distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Kim is passionate in treating each of her patients like family and delivering comprehensive and compassionate eye care. She is excited and honored to be of service to the TVLC community. In her spare time, Dr. Kim loves running, traveling, and spending= quality time with her family and friends.
Dr. Si-On Kim is a proud native Texan and grew up throughout the DFW metroplex. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During optometry school, she was selected to be a Teaching Assistant and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society for her exemplary academic performance.

Post-graduation, Dr. Kim pursued advanced training by completing an intensive Ocular Disease residency at the Memphis VA Medical Center. Prior to joining TVLC, she practiced at a cataract and refractive ophthalmology center and several primary eye care clinics. As a result, Dr. Kim is proficient in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of ocular pathologies and pre- and post-surgical care.
